About The Position
Pima Federal Credit Union of Tucson, AZ is looking to hire a full-time Commercial Credit Underwriter. Our Commercial Credit Underwriter is responsible for supporting the Commercial Lending Department, under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. They're responsible for underwriting commercial credit opportunities originated within the credit union including both C&I and commercial real estate relationships, evaluating commercial lending opportunities while managing risk in portfolio loans and overall member relationships, and assisting in underwriting and monitoring the internal processes supporting a specialty asset-based lending program. Job duties include analyzing global cash flow for commercial and individual prospects, borrowers, and guarantors to identify financial condition, profitability, repayment ability, operating trends, financial support of credit and other various financial indicators. Attention to detail is a must for our Commercial Credit Underwriter as they will prepare all required financial spreads, borrowing base reconciliations, and compliance measures, underwrite full loan presentations, and utilize loan pricing models to prepare packages for approval on all new and existing credits. In addition, our underwriter will work with Loan Officers in meeting with current and prospective members to understand specific member requirements and needs.
