About The Position

The position involves performing various duties related to the credit analysis function for all assigned credit relationships. The role is crucial in developing information that will be utilized by Relationship Managers, the Loan Committee, and the Board Loan Committee to make informed decisions regarding new and existing loans. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing credit information from multiple sources, analyzing financial statements using spreading software, and participating in customer calls with Relationship Managers. Additionally, the position requires the development and preparation of credit presentations to document credit files and provide necessary information for credit decisions. The role also involves monitoring the maintenance and updating of credit files, ensuring timely completion of scheduled annual reviews, and reviewing loan reports for accuracy. The position may require assisting in the development of new procedures to enhance automation and efficiency, managing departmental workflow in the absence of senior management, and training junior Credit Analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of credit analysis experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial statements.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for positive representation of the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform credit analysis on assigned credit relationships.
  • Collect and analyze credit information from various sources.
  • Analyze financial statements using spreading software.
  • Attend customer calls with Relationship Managers and document them as needed.
  • Prepare credit presentations for the Loan Committee and Board Loan Committee.
  • Monitor and update credit files.
  • Ensure timely completion of scheduled annual reviews.
  • Review Biweekly Loan Report for accuracy.
  • Assist in developing new procedures for automation and efficiency.
  • Manage departmental workflow in the absence of senior management.
  • Review and critique file memos and credit presentations for other analysts.
  • Assist in training of Credit Analysts.
  • Work directly with other departments to facilitate workflow.
  • Work directly with customers as needed.
  • Complete assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
