About The Position

Parallel is a web infrastructure company building the foundational tools that allow businesses to develop powerful AI agents with flexible, programmatic access to the web. Backed by leading venture investors, the company’s platform is used by organizations across industries—from sales and marketing to insurance and software development—to power next-generation AI applications. Parallel is seeking a Commercial Counsel to help build the legal foundation of a rapidly growing AI company. In this role, the attorney will partner closely with Sales and go-to-market teams to structure and negotiate enterprise agreements while developing the systems that enable the company’s contracting process to scale efficiently. The position will lead negotiations for commercial SaaS agreements, advise on customer and partnership relationships, and help design the templates, playbooks, and processes that support consistent deal execution. The role also provides guidance on privacy and data protection considerations within customer relationships as the company expands its enterprise footprint. The ideal candidate brings strong experience negotiating commercial technology agreements and advising fast-moving business teams. You are comfortable working directly with cross-functional partners, translating legal complexity into practical guidance, and helping build scalable legal infrastructure within a high-growth technology environment.
