About The Position

Rogo is building the first true AI analyst for the financial industry—technology designed to help investment banks, private equity firms, and institutional investors generate faster, deeper insights from complex financial information. With a rapidly expanding client base and strong backing from leading investors, the company is defining a new category at the intersection of finance and enterprise AI. Rogo is seeking a Commercial Counsel to help scale the company’s commercial legal function during a period of rapid growth. Working closely with the Head of Legal, this role will lead negotiations for high-value commercial agreements with major financial institutions and support the legal infrastructure required to scale the company’s enterprise business. The position will manage end-to-end negotiations for master services agreements and other customer contracts, oversee data licensing and partnership agreements, and partner closely with Sales, Product, Security, and Operations teams to structure commercially aligned legal solutions. The role will also help design the company’s contracting systems, including templates, playbooks, and approval processes that support efficient deal execution. The ideal candidate brings strong experience negotiating commercial technology agreements and advising fast-moving business teams. You are comfortable operating independently, translating complex legal frameworks into practical guidance, and building scalable legal systems that support growth in a high-velocity startup environment.
