Put your passion, drive and expertise to work with the world’s cloud security leader. We're looking for a talented and business-oriented Commercial Counsel to join our Legal team. Reporting to the Senior Legal Director, you will be responsible for:

Requirements

  • Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active admission to a State Bar
  • 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts at a leading law firm, in-house, or preferably a combination thereof
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial transactions within the technology and SaaS space, especially supporting Sales teams
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations such as CCPA and GDPR, and experience drafting and negotiating related terms
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive in dynamic, deadline-driven environments
  • Organized, results-driven, and client-focused team player

Nice To Haves

  • In-house legal experience at a publicly-traded SaaS company
  • Experience working with large, multinational customers across industries such as health, financial services, and insurance
  • Familiarity with contract management systems and legal project management tools

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS Subscription Agreements, Master Services and/or Purchase Agreements, Hosted Services Agreements
  • Negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Information Security Addendums, and similar agreements directly with customers and partners
  • Improving and maintaining commercial agreement templates, contract negotiation playbooks, and legal processes to support global scaling
  • Partnering closely with internal teams—including Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, and Business Development—to efficiently execute contract negotiations
  • Advising internal teams to balance business interests with mitigating risk and aligning with applicable laws and policies
