About The Position

As the Commercial Controller for Industrial Refrigeration, you will lead the financial operations for the commercial side of the business based in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies. Your role will be critical in driving profitability and supporting business growth initiatives. You will help lead financial control and accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely preparation, recording, transmission, analysis, and communication of data necessary to achieve objectives. You will ensure the integrity of the financial information generated, implement process improvements, and spread financial knowledge to other members of the sales, engineering, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of financial management experience, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Percentage of Completion accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience with SAP and OneStream preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate, motivate, and partner with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze monthly financial results for the full P&L, including validating the accuracy of key finance metrics and identifying R&O and trends impacting the business.
  • Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and weekly outlooks, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Partner with the sales organization and communicate/align updates on S&OP vs. financial outlooks.
  • Work closely with engineering and procurement on the standard cost roll as well as monthly PPV reporting.
  • Partner with the shared service center teams to ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed and reviewed on a timely basis.
  • Be responsible for reviewing all key and subjective reserve accounts on at least a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls and conduct regular audits and reviews.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders to support strategic discussions.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
