About The Position

Aqua Blue Pools is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale pool projects that define luxury and precision. This role involves managing complex, high-end commercial construction projects while balancing schedules, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction. The position is based in Charleston, SC, and is in-office, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekends.

Requirements

• Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong communication skills to keep clients, crews, and leadership informed.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving abilities to anticipate risks and resolve challenges.
• Comfort with project management software, scheduling systems, and reporting tools.
• Proactive and hands-on approach to project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight to Project Superintendents, crews, and subcontractors.
• Foster professionalism, accountability, and a culture of excellence on every job.
• Serve as the primary client contact, conducting regular check-ins and updates.
• Ensure customer expectations are not only met but exceeded.
• Review plans thoroughly, ensuring alignment with client needs and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and staff to maintain project readiness.
• Oversee all on-site and off-site construction activities.
• Maintain quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to schedule.
• Resolve emerging problems quickly and proactively.
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold standards.
• Document progress with job site photos and app-based reporting.
• Monitor and track crew and subcontractor safety training.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
• Attend GC meetings, represent the company professionally, and relay updates to stakeholders.
