Requirements

  • Experience as a Commercial Construction Lead Superintendent with vertical ground-up and remodel experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred.
  • Dependable form of transportation.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 60 days if out of state).
  • Ability to work after hours when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS Projects.
  • Experience using Procore for project management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project scheduling with weekly updates; MS Projects experience is a plus.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct weekly onsite toolbox meetings.
  • Utilize Procore to complete daily reports, monitor conversations, and take daily pictures.
  • Coordinate inspections and generate punch lists.
  • Verify subcontractor change orders and validate labor/material projections.
  • Communicate clearly and assertively in the field with Owners, Architects, and other consultants.
  • Solve problems proactively and embrace challenges until solutions are developed.
  • Maintain ethical business practices in all daily actions.
  • Interact with representatives of various city building and development departments.
  • Interpret blueprints and coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
  • Contact and schedule subcontractors, motivating them to meet project specifications.
  • Organize and conduct weekly onsite subcontractor meetings to discuss safety practices, schedules, and quality control.
  • Work with office staff and respond in a timely manner to emails and requests.
  • Be punctual and accountable for meetings and requests from staff.
