About The Position
JRock Construction LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Concrete Estimator to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in our preconstruction phase, responsible for accurately estimating costs for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a high level of competence in concrete and rebar estimation, along with strong computer skills and the ability to interpret project requirements. The position is full-time, with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and may require extended hours to meet project deadlines. As a Commercial Concrete Estimator, you will be expected to utilize construction estimating software, such as Planswift, to generate accurate cost estimates based on project specifications and requirements. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, project dates, and commercial terms to ensure alignment with project goals. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Collaboration with project stakeholders is essential to analyze project requirements, identify potential challenges, and develop comprehensive estimates.
