About The Position

Jack Laurie Group is hiring experienced Commercial Carpenters who know metal stud framing and acoustical ceilings (ACT).
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for individuals who can read prints, handle layout, and produce clean, professional work without constant direction.
If you need to be told what to do all day, this is not the role.

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal stud framing and/or ACT ceilings
• Ability to read prints and work independently
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Pride in workmanship—this is not “just get it done” work

Nice To Haves

• Foreman or lead experience
• Ability or desire to run a crew
• Strong commercial interiors background

Responsibilities

• Metal stud framing for commercial interiors
• Acoustical ceiling grid and tile installation (ACT)
• Reading blueprints and completing layout
• Working on active job sites with production expectations
• Delivering clean, straight, professional installs
