About The Position

AM Construction Services, Inc. is seeking carpenters of all experience levels to join our dedicated commercial carpentry team in the Southeastern Wisconsin area. We are looking for hard workers who are willing to learn the trade of rough or finished carpentry, as well as experienced carpentry veterans seeking new opportunities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in reading blueprints
• Ability to measure, cut and shape wood
• Critical thinking
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and plans
• Measure, cut, and shape lumber into multiple structural components
• Assemble the framework using nails, screws, and fasteners
• Verify final work meets original specifications and is in compliance with building codes and regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and dispose of waste material properly
• Troubleshoot any problems and make repairs or adjustments where needed
• Build exterior walls, roofs and stairwells
• Rough interior walls and floors
• Install cabinetry and doors
