About The Position

Summary of the Position: The Commercial Business Analyst plays a critical support role within the Commercial Banking Regional Lender Sales Team including local efforts in C&I, Commercial Real Estate, Equipment Finance, Fund Finance and Treasury Management. This individual is responsible for assisting Regional President, Relationship Managers and Associate Relationship Managers in the execution of commercial loan transactions, client onboarding, pipeline management, portfolio management, and sales reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment who seeks to expand their business acumen in Commercial Banking. Primary Functions of the Position: Sales Support & Pipeline Management Maintain and update sales pipeline reports and dashboards. Track deal progress and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution. Prepare client presentations, proposals, and pitch materials. Portfolio analytics at the RM and Regional levels. Coordinate and participate in credit review meetings including quarterly portfolio reviews, maturity reports, leasing status reports and construction monitoring. Participate with Portfolio Management on all data requests from internal and external stakeholders. Loan Production Assistance Support Relationship Managers in gathering documentation for loan underwriting and closing. Coordinate with credit, legal, and operations teams to facilitate loan processing. Support Relationship Managers and Loan Administration in loan draw requests. Monitor loan documentation, reporting and compliance requirements. Client Onboarding & Relationship Support Assist in onboarding new commercial clients, ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met. Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments to resolve issues and provide updates. Administrative & Operational Tasks Schedule client meetings and coordinate travel for sales team members. Maintain organized records of client interactions, loan files, and correspondence. Assist with internal reporting and audit requests. Assist with loan draw requests and loan closings as needed. Special projects or initiatives relative to product or process enhancements. Establish credit reporting cadence with new clients and new loans post-closing. Lead and manage client events, gifts and entertainment including sporting event tickets. Customer service backup for RMs and ARMs. Notary for legal documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in commercial banking, financial services, or sales support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Co-Pilot).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Interest in commercial lending, portfolio management and client relationship management.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and loan origination platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with TSC Bank’s systems, IT, data, process and risk management approach.
