About The Position
The City of Raleigh is currently seeking a Commercial Building Inspector to join our Planning and Development Department. Under limited supervision, this position conducts on-site building inspections to ensure that new commercial construction and existing buildings are in compliance with applicable codes and performs related work as required. We are seeking a candidate with strong organizational, time management, and communication skills wanting to work in a team-oriented environment focused on customer service and life safety.
