About The Position

The Commercial Building Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment within a commercial facility. This role ensures all interior spaces are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized to support daily business operations and present a positive image to tenants, employees, and visitors.

Requirements

• Must be a United States Citizen
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record through an insurance-sponsored insurability matrix
• Have reliable transportation
• 18 years or older
• Able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (51+ pounds)
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Refill supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizer
• Clean windows, glass doors, and high-touch surfaces
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
• Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly and safely
• Perform light maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, replacing batteries, and basic troubleshooting
