About The Position

The Commercial & Builder Sales Manager has a pivotal role focused on driving growth and building strong relationships with regional and custom home builders, developers and general contractors within an assigned geographic territory. This position will also include driving National Builder, multifamily and commercial project strategies and programs at the divisional level. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with company goals, ensuring that our products and services meet the unique needs of the builder segment. This role requires a dynamic sales professional with deep industry knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven ability to drive results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the building industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with builder partners.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess market conditions and sales performance.
  • Ability to address and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with National, regional and custom home builders, developers and general contractors within the assigned geography.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and programs to grow market share, increase product penetration, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of builder accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential builder partners, developers and general contractors.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and programs are executed effectively.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, set performance goals, and track progress against targets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings and provide guidance to customers.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Regional Sales Director on sales performance.
  • Offer training and product demonstrations to builder partners, developers and general contractors.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet with builder partners and support regional sales initiatives.
