About The Position
The position involves billing Commercial and some government payers (excluding Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid) for various healthcare facilities including Anderson Hospital, Community Hospital of Staunton, Maryville Imaging, Anderson Surgery Center, and Anderson Home Care. The role requires working with claim edits in Meditech and Claims Management (XClaim), processing late and lost charges, and managing work queues in Meduit for insurance payer discrepancies. Additionally, the position is responsible for insurance discovery through FinThrive, and for adding or fixing insurance payers as needed.
