About The Position

Every workday at Farmer Brothers begins with purpose. By 7:30 am, you’re stocked, route planned, and ready to support our customers as a trusted member of the Revive™ Service & Restoration team. You’ll drive within a 100-mile radius (with occasional regional travel) to install, service, and remove commercial coffee brewing and beverage dispensing equipment—keeping cafes, restaurants, and workplaces running smoothly. When an unexpected emergency pops up, you’re the calm problem-solver who gets them back online.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of mechanical/technical experience (required); prior foodservice experience is a plus.
  • Preferred exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of test/tech meters.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable traveling within a 100+ mile radius from the branch.
  • Strength to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Ability to handle both scheduled and unscheduled work: emergency calls, preventive maintenance, surveys, and installations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to prioritize tasks to meet expectations and service level agreements.
  • Independent and resourceful, yet collaborative when coordinating across teams.
  • Sound business judgment and decision-making; identifies issues and opportunities quickly.
  • Applies new knowledge on the job, listens actively, and understands your impact on others.
  • Builds rapport and long-term, cooperative relationships with customers; seeks opportunities to grow the business.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and remove commercial coffee brewing and beverage dispensing equipment across a designated region.
  • Deliver scheduled preventive maintenance and surveys; pivot quickly for unscheduled and emergency service calls.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and our internal teams, capturing feedback and requests for continuous improvement.
  • Wrap up each job with complete documentation—accurate work details, call closure, invoices, and required customer signatures.
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and on-site execution of equipment installations.
  • Replenish and manage your spare parts within company guidelines.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekends.
