About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining banking relationships with Commercial clients within Collier County Florida and for the management of a commercial banking team. The incumbent supervises and develops the commercial banking team to maintain and grow the loan, deposit, and Treasury Management portfolio and to develop and enhance customer relationships. The incumbent is also responsible for the growth and retention of their own book of business.

Requirements

• Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 8-10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manages revenue generation activities, Corporate & Commercial Lending, Commercial Real Estate & Construction, and Treasury Management Sales.
• Develops sales objectives, plans and tactics to achieve sales results in key result areas.
• Develops, coordinates and implements marketing efforts and sales plans that address local market opportunities.
• Establishes banking relationships with middle market and business banking customers within the assigned geographical area.
• Builds and maintains a portfolio and client base including new business development and meeting corporate clients' financial services needs through cross selling and consultation.
• Develops, maintains, and grows own client base.
• Responsible for management and strategy of loan and deposit portfolio and quality therein; oversees and recommends loan underwriting and administrative parameters.
• Manages assigned relationship managers.
• Works with direct reports to achieve results set forth in the bank's strategic plan.
• Participates in developing marketing and sales plans with their direct reports.
• Monitors and proactively manages team and personal portfolio credit quality.
• Monitors and manages team portfolio reports.
• Refers business opportunities to business partners at Wealth Management, Insurance, Treasury Management, Specialty Banking and other products and services offered by the Company.
• Manages team of Client Support Specialists who provide loan closing, account maintenance and commercial loan documentation support.
• Reviews term sheets and previews memorandums and credit packages for approval.
• Reviews market research on an ongoing basis to determine customer needs, business opportunities, and competitive strategies.
• Participates in civic organizations within the Community to strengthen and broaden brand awareness and Company outreach.
• Responsible for quality balance sheet growth, revenue growth, and expense management that drives economic profit for the commercial team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
