About The Position

A Commercial Banking Specialist ensures the timely and accurate preparation of all transactions originated by a Commercial Banker of Farmers Bank. They gather information, take each application from pre-approval to closing, making sure that the file adheres to the intent of our loan program guidelines and all applicable regulations. They also manage the relationships between Banker and customer and third-party service providers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Works closely with the Commercial Banker to ensure a professional experience for the Bank’s business customers through meaningful communication and excellent customer service Provides administrative support to the Commercial Banker including but not limited to updating data onto the bank’s software, assembling accurate loan files and preparing reports Develops and maintains skills to successfully and efficiently operate the software and technological resources of commercial operations QUALITIES + ABILITIES · Eager to learn and continuously seek improvement in performance · Confident and curious with the use of technology · Strong communication skills with an ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers and third parties · Proven job experience with initiative, reliability, and professionalism QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma or equivalent · Knowledge of retail and commercial banking products and services, procedures and banking software · 3 years’ banking experience with preference given to experience with the lending process · Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite OTHER POINTS OF NOTE The normal workweek for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm; however, flexible scheduling will be considered We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of retail and commercial banking products and services, procedures and banking software
3 years’ banking experience with preference given to experience with the lending process
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite
Eager to learn and continuously seek improvement in performance
Confident and curious with the use of technology
