About The Position

Adams Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced Sales Assistant to join its expanding Commercial Lending department. This full-time position can be based out of several branches in Northern Colorado, including Fort Collins, Greeley, Firestone, Windsor, or Berthoud. The bank is a family-owned regional institution with 23 locations across Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, and Arizona, offering Commercial, Agriculture, Retail, Trust, Financial Advising, and digital banking services. The role involves assisting a team of bankers in managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements, and providing professional support to the Region President and Commercial Bankers. Key responsibilities include financial input preparation, client service, active participation in the Credit Approval Process, loan packet preparation, business development calls, collateral inspections, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting a team of bankers in management of client relationships and maintaining files/relationships in conformity with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Assists lead officers with request for yearly financials from borrowers.
  • Completes all financial input prep assigned by banker.
  • Builds a thorough knowledge of client files and accounts in order to provide effective customer service with the lead banker.
  • Assists in strengthening, maintaining and expanding client relationships through professional support for Region President and Commercial Bankers.
  • Takes active role in full Credit Approval Process including gathering, compiling, and submitting all documentation required by Credit Analyst Department to process initial loan application/spread financial information.
  • Possesses a full understanding of loan packet preparation to include completing Credit Presentation Checklist, Loan Officer Comments, and compiling full loan packet.
  • Calls on existing and prospective clients as part of on-going business development.
  • Conducts collateral inspection on selected clients under direction and supervision of lead banker.
  • Assists the Region President with administrative/clerical functions.
