About The Position

Build commercial loan portfolio by soliciting prospective customers, mange customer relationships through active calling, use sound underwriting guidelines to maintain credit quality, and provide qualified referrals to other departments. Ensure that applicable bank lending policies and practices are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in a business related field
• Minimum of 5 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Business Development - Client and/or Prospect calling and business development are essential components of this position.
• Introductions and referrals to other Bank departments (when appropriate) are also essential.
• Phone, written and face-to-face contact with prospective commercial loan clients as well as existing customers
• Make and service all types of secured and unsecured loans and lines of credit.
• Manage commercial loan portfolio - focusing on growth, yield, concentration, and safety & soundness.
• Underwriting- Uses sound underwriting guidelines to maintain credit quality, analysis and structuring of loan request, recommendations for committee decisions, approve/deny requests, compliance with regulators.
• Ensures that applicable bank lending policies and practices are followed.
• Lender must have the ability to comprehend and apply principals of financial statement analysis to a wide variety of complex financial situations
• Involvement in volunteer/community activities to increase bank presence and awareness
