Commercial Associate (Spring 2026) As a Commercial Associate, you will play a key role in driving Astranis' global growth strategy. Sitting at the intersection of sales, marketing, finance, and solutions engineering, you’ll own business development initiatives and optimize our commercial initiatives to drive growth. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is motivated to make an impact! Associate programs at Astranis typically last for a minimum of twelve weeks.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in the satellite communications, telecommunications, or aerospace industries.
  • Experience in business development, sales or commercial operations.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven project management abilities with a track record of executing complex initiatives.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including Excel and visualization tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required (To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing business development efforts to grow the commercial pipeline in new and existing markets including building outreach campaigns and supporting inbound requests.
  • Analyze sales performance, pipeline metrics, and revenue forecasts to provide actionable insights that drive commercial growth and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within satellite internet and private network sectors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to ensure consistency and quality across all external-facing materials, events, and digital assets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, including pricing analysis, customer segmentation, and go-to-market planning.
