Bank of America’s Dealer Financial Services (DFS) is seeking a Commercial Associate to join our team. Dealer Financial Services (DFS) is part of the Global Commercial Bank which serves public and private companies with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion. Dealer Finance is a specialty group that provides the full range of commercial banking services to new automotive, and recreational vehicle dealers across the United States. Services include new and used floor plan lines of credit, financing for real estate construction and acquisitions, dealership acquisition, working capital, equipment leasing and letters of credit. As one of the largest non-captive floor plan lenders in the U.S. for franchised automotive and recreational vehicle (RV) relationships with $20 billion in commercial commitments, Bank of America supports top market providers, from single-points to publicly-traded dealer groups with a diverse offering of industry leading products and services compatible with dealers’ systems. The Commercial Associate will be part of our National Dealer Account team and will be working with the largest dealership groups across the country. This job supports client coverage teams by qualifying prospects, exploring opportunities with existing clients, preparing industry analyses, and developing innovative strategies to help us grow wallet and market share. Key responsibilities include working closely with various banking partners to create client/prospect presentations, providing support throughout the course of the transaction and strengthening client relationships. Job expectations include leveraging data to tell stories and sharing valuable insights from economic updates, markets forecasts, new business reports, and industry valuations to inform important business decisions. Successful CAs grow into Relationship Managers or other client-facing associates over ~4-5 years.
