About The Position

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a commercial asphalt paving crew (7–10+ team members)
Oversee all phases of work including grading, paving and milling operations
Coordinate trucking, materials, and equipment to maintain production flow
Ensure proper mat thickness, compaction, and drainage
Read and interpret plans, specs, and job requirements
Monitor job progress and adjust as needed for weather, site conditions, and scheduling
Communicate effectively with operations manager, superintendent and project managers
Track daily production, tonnage, material yields, and job performance
Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet quality expectations

Requirements

• 5+ years of asphalt paving experience
• 2+ years in a foreman or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of commercial paving operations
• Experience with commercial asphalt paving projects
• Ability to manage crews, equipment, and jobsite logistics
• Understanding of grading, drainage, and compaction techniques
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends
