About The Position

Nextech is expanding its electrical team and is looking for an Electrical Technician to join their team. With over 2,000 team members nationwide and more than 30 years of success, Nextech is America’s largest HVAC/R service provider. This role involves leading critical electrical service work for commercial customers, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades, with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Requirements

State Apprentice License (if required by your state)
Familiarity with current NEC codes
Experience installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial or industrial environments
Ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems
Must own basic hand tools for electrical work
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-first mindset
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screening

Nice To Haves

1+ years of commercial electrical experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
Reading blueprints and wiring schematics to execute tasks accurately
Bending pipe, pulling wire, running conduit, and installing outlets and fixtures
Coordinating with other trades on job sites to ensure efficient workflow
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment — always putting safety first
Participating in company training programs to stay up to date with evolving code and technology
Following detailed instructions and maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship
Representing Nextech with a positive, can-do attitude at every site
