Mercantile Bank is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our commercial lending operations through real estate valuation oversight. As a Commercial Appraisal Reviewer, you will collaborate closely with commercial lending staff to fully understand property and transaction details while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. This position also performs internal real estate evaluations by providing comprehensive market research of comparable sale and lease transactions.

Requirements

Strong set of analytical and research skills, enabling you to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions about property valuations
Effective communication skills to present findings and collaborate with colleagues and clients
Keen attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of appraisal reviews
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to assess various factors impacting property values and develop innovative solutions
Familiarity with financial concepts and a passion for the banking industry
3 or more years of job-related commercial real estate appraisal experience
Adaptability and a willingness to learn
