Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com. We are currently looking for a Commercial Analyst I/II/Sr for our Houston, TX office. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Designing and developing user-centric Power Bl reports and dashboards to meet Boardwalk Pipelines commercial stakeholders' needs Utilizing DAX formulas to create calculated measures, columns, and tables for complex calculations and data manipulation Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis of commercial activities, imbalances, and revenue generation Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and/or transform commercial transactional data for reporting and/or competitive analysis Troubleshooting and resolving issues in PowerBI reports Providing training and support to the pipeline commercial team on using PowerBI Documenting data sources, data transformations, and report logic for future reference Support Commercial Team in response to regulatory audits and/or rate case support Use of third-party data and analysis tools to provide competitor analysis and assess customer market share

Requirements

Proficiency in PowerBI development, including report and dashboard creation
Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
Exposure to Tabular Editor to enhance efficiency of PowerBI calculated measures, columns, and tables
Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction / database management
Excellent attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Adaptability to changing business requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, MIS, Engineering or related field

Nice To Haves

2 to 5+ years' experience in data analytics
1 to 2 years of natural gas commercial and/or financial data manipulation and analysis
Expertise in DAX and Power Query M language
Expertise in Tabular Editor to enhance efficiency of PowerBI calculated measures, columns, and tables
Proficiency in Python

Responsibilities
