The Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for an Aftermarket Contracts Manager to join them. You will report to the Senior Aftermarket Contracts Manager and will have a hybrid onsite/virtual work schedule in either our East Aurora, NY or Torrance, CA location.

  • Provide legal support to the Commercial Aircraft Group's global Commercial Aftermarket team, engaging with customers and negotiating customer contracts that maximize product provision and repair services, protect operational performance and comply with Airframer and OEM product support requirements.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to highly-charged, ambiguous situations, with limited opportunity for research or consultation, potentially involving disputes with customers.
  • Develop and maintain a variety of contract templates including Customer Support Agreements, Standard Terms and Conditions of Service and other contract vehicles.
  • Collaborate with other Moog functional disciplines (Programs, Sales, Trade Compliance, Tax, Finance, etc.) in managing the application of contracts to program execution in the aftermarket.
  • Train aftermarket personnel on Moog agreements, commercial terms and conditions, Moog procedures, change management, risk management, contract provision evaluation, contractual drafting, and contract negotiations.
  • Provide global support which may entail working off-hours to accommodate meetings/calls with other time zones.
  • Occasionally travel internationally and/or domestically.
  • Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor.
  • A minimum of 5 years of contracts experience, including contract negotiating and advanced legal drafting.
  • A basic understanding of international transactional principles such as export licensing, imports, INCOTERMS, VAT, tariffs, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft creative solutions to unique business problems in a collaborative environment.
  • Membership in a state bar is highly desirable.
