Commercial Accountant – Offshore & Remote Perth office based, Newcastle Street, East Perth, WA 6000 Reporting to the Commercial Business Partner Hybrid working model (2 days working from home & 3 days working in the office) Join Compass Group Australia and play a key role in the growth of our offshore and remote portfolio, supporting communities and workforces in some of Australia’s most challenging environments. Requirements

  • Advance Microsoft Excel skills
  • A “can-do” attitude and excellent communication skills
  • A desire to deliver results and improve portfolio performance
  • Strong financial acumen and a passion for commercial accounting
  • A degree in Accounting (or currently studying towards CA/CPA) and relevant business experience
  • 2+ years of experience in business, hospitality, or facilities services (highly regarded)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ORACLE accounting system
  • Experience in financial model and commercial review
  • Min 5 years previous experience within commercial accounting environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end preparation and oversight of Profit & Loss statements
  • Deliver accurate and insightful month-end reporting
  • Provide exceptional client billing and financial reporting services
  • Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and site audits
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and commercial evaluations
  • Ensure contract compliance and assist internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and project work
