About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Account Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling and or leases vehicles while developing and managing relationships with government agencies, municipalities, and public-sector clients.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully closing sales and managing long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft application use, including Word, Outlook, and most importantly Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in specific vertical, such as IT, construction, or public services.
  • Existing relationships with government agencies and municipal decision-makers.
  • Understanding of public sector budgeting and funding cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, municipal agencies, and decision-makers.
  • Understand the unique needs and requirements of government and municipal clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all government and municipal sales inquiries and customer support.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new government and municipal accounts.
  • Maintain and expand the existing client base by providing excellent customer service.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Advise clients on new trends, technologies, and solutions that benefit government and municipal organizations.
  • Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), and other public sector procurement requests.
  • Work closely with internal teams (such as legal, compliance, and finance) to ensure all proposals meet the necessary guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to government and municipal sales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts in CRM systems.
  • Track and report on sales performance against targets and quotas.
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
