Qt Group is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our Americas Sales Team and cover the West Territory. In this role, you will work with small and mid-sized companies across key verticals including industrial, medical, consumer, automotive, aerospace & defense, and high-tech manufacturing. Your focus will be on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while expanding Qt's footprint within existing commercial accounts across the region. You will partner with engineering and product stakeholders, uncover customer needs, and communicate the value of Qt's portfolio-including the Qt framework and our Quality Assurance solutions. Success in this role requires strong outbound prospecting skills, a consultative sales approach, and disciplined territory management. This is a hybrid in-office role based in Boston, MA; Detroit, MI; or Dallas, TX.

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts across the West Territory
  • Drive outbound prospecting to build pipeline with small and mid-sized companies
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and move opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Deliver tailored demos, presentations, and proposals aligned to customer needs
  • Develop weekly territory plans, account strategies, and accurate forecasts
  • Build strong relationships with engineering managers, product teams, and technical decision-makers
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to support opportunities and customer outcomes
  • Stay informed on market developments, industry trends, and competitive offerings
  • Maintain consistent pipeline generation and activity aligned to commercial sales expectations
  • 3-5+ years of software sales experience, ideally selling into industrial, medical, consumer, aerospace & defense, automotive, or high-tech markets
  • Proven track record managing full-cycle commercial sales and meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline-building skills
  • Ability to communicate technical value and serve as a trusted advisor to engineering and product teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or other structured sales methodologies
  • Experience with development tools, embedded software, or QA automation
  • Salesforce proficiency
  • Existing relationships with commercial accounts in the Western U.S.
