The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for managing the Client Insurance Program, utilizing the agency management system. This role involves handling larger and more complex accounts than the Associate Account Executive, performing duties directly or through other resources such as assigned Account Managers or external resources. Key responsibilities include acting as a point of contact with the Producer, initiating correspondence with the marketplace, and maintaining positive client relationships. The Executive will also manage accounts receivables, direct billing, and ensure the completion of various insurance documentation and proposals. Teamwork is essential, as the Executive will function as a member of the Client Services team, delegating tasks and ensuring superior service to all clients. Technical expertise is required to analyze insurance quotes, communicate with clients and carriers, and maintain knowledge of policy forms and endorsements.

  • Manage the Client Insurance Program using the agency management system.
  • Act as a point of contact with the Producer.
  • Initiate correspondence with the marketplace.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and analyze situations for reasonable decision-making.
  • Manage upcoming deadlines and events, informing the Producer as needed.
  • Manage Accounts Receivables and Direct Billing.
  • Create Acord applications and COPE spreadsheets for submissions.
  • Prepare Loss Summaries and proposals for renewal terms.
  • Issue Acord Insurance Binders and initiate Premium Finance Requests.
  • Prepare Schedules of Insurance and policies for delivery to clients.
  • Process Policy Audits and Monthly Reports.
  • Identify and resolve Accounting discrepancies.
  • Perform quality checks on insurance policies.
  • Delegate tasks to Account Managers and outsourcing teams.
  • Support the training and growth of the Account Manager.
  • Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and clients as needed.
  • Become proficient in using premium analysis software.
  • Licensed: Texas P&C Agent preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of midmarket Commercial Account Manager experience preferred.
  • Completion of CIC and CRM preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours to meet client needs.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and current internet technologies.
  • Demonstrate proactive work style.
  • Ability to learn, analyze, and comprehend commercial lines of insurance.
  • Demonstrate effective client service through problem-solving and tactfulness.
