About The Position

Commander's Action Group SME The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. As a Commander's Action Group SME, you’ll bring your analytical, strategic, tactical, and technical expertise to work on projects for the U.S. Navy. You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support the command. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes. You’ll guide the work we do for the U.S. Navy and the solutions we deliver for strategic planning, defense mission planning, and national defense strategy. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working directly with the U.S. Navy, including with a command staff
  • Experience in interacting with or briefing senior executive stakeholders
  • Knowledge of military processes and methodologies
  • Ability to manage high-priority tasks, meet deadlines, deliver under pressure, and pay strict attention to detail
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience in the Indo-Pacific
  • Experience with applying fact-finding, analytical, and problem-solving methods and techniques
  • Experience with data analysis, task automation, or API integration
  • Knowledge of Indo-Pacific strategic initiatives
  • Ability to create visually engaging presentations with data visualization and graphic design using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Publisher
  • Master's degree
