About The Position

Command Language Program Coordinator Key Role: Provide language program management to assist with our strategic partners Language Program and align the program with their overarching strategic goals. Apply best language training practices and the procurement of training and materials. Provide and maintain a Significant Language Training Event (SLTE) calendar for all language training procured for the language program that is accessible to the strategic partner, state Command Language Program Managers (CLPMs), linguists, and all other authorized personnel. Coordinate with the language program manager on program implementation and facilitate communications with state CLPMs, language training providers, and Army linguists on the status of ongoing activities and manage compliant implementation of SLTEs. Coordinate with the strategic partners to conduct market research, planning, and procurement of language courses, and IT equipment as required for language labs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting and managing the Total Army Language Program (TALP)
  • Experience managing the procurement and accessibility of language training resources
  • Experience managing doctrinally sound training IAW established policies and regulations for military language personnel management, such as Army Regulation 11-6 (AR 11-6)
  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community missions, functions, and interrelationships
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience as a Command Language Program Coordinator, or 5+ years of experience as a Command Language Program Coordinator in lieu of a degree
