About The Position

Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Security Supervisor, the incumbent mans command center or podium as assigned to dispatch security personnel, receive incoming calls and maintain required log books. Promotes an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times. Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the company. Ensures that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be able to communicate with guests and other employees in a positive manner.
  • Must be able to effectively direct vehicular traffic in parking lots/garage and entrances/exits.
  • Ability to read and understand all company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English.
  • Must be able to complete standard company forms and reports.
  • Must be able to read technical manuals.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
  • Must be able to apply sound judgement in standard and non-standard situations with limited variables involved.
  • Basic Computer Skills

  • a minimum of one (1) year of appropriate experience preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.
  • Operates and monitors the fire alarm and security CCTV systems.
  • Maintains accurate security incident logs.
  • Operates and monitors all holdup alarm systems.
  • Implements notification process in emergency situations i.e., fire, bomb threat, weather emergencies, etc.
  • Assists in the coordination of emergency situations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
