About The Position

Strategic Security (SSC) is a nationwide leading provider of security guard services, executive protection, intelligence, consulting, investigative services. SSC Operations Center Watch Officer is responsible for: Dispatch / Scheduling / Analysts in our Operations Center for support for our local and nationwide client locations. The hours of operations are 24/7. The rate for this position is $21.00/hr. As an Operations Center Watch Officer, you will be responsible for: Monitoring multiple intrusion and fire alarm systems for client locations. Monitor closed circuit television systems for client locations. Monitor multiple radio talk groups for local site to include security and fire talk groups. Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls for the local client location. Annotate all site activity as it pertains to security, fire and/or facilities. Communicating directly with the client and the security forces team to ensure site and business safety. Communicate and work closely with other SOC dispatchers and Account Manager on various shifts. Conduct status checks of all posts/patrols. Dispatch appropriate security personnel for calls for service. Maintain log books/blotters, handling guard force call outs, backfills or additional service requests. Monitoring guard force time, attendance and post watch. Monitoring of GPS tracking of company assets and performing other duties as needed. Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess exceptional computer skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to follow orders
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must be warm, engaging, charismatic; and possess a natural ability to develop rapport with others in an authentic and sincere manner
  • Must practice good judgment; high level of integrity
