About The Position

Visual Sound is seeking to hire a Command and Control Project Consultant (Sales) for our Corporate Office in Broomall, PA. The Project Consultant is responsible for the overall business growth of control room solutions on the East Coast. This role will be accountable for expanding market penetration for mission critical control room related technology to all vertical markets including, but not limited to: Transportation, Surveillance, Security, Monitoring, Utilities, Network Operations, Emergency Operations, and Government. The Project Consultant will be expected to establish and implement a market strategy, meet, and exceed assigned sales goals, and develop and maintain relationship with clients, vendors, and partners in the Command-and-Control marketplace. In addition, this position will be able to strategically target professional AV accounts for corporate, government, healthcare, and higher education within the same territory.

Requirements

  • BA Degree or combination of education and four or more years Command & Control or similar industry experience

Nice To Haves

  • A CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is a plus, but not a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates technical skills, product knowledge, and terminology of the Command-and-Control space.
  • Determine key targets within an organization and be able to develop a tactical plan to reach key targets.
  • Develop and implement market strategies and tactical plans to meet organizational objectives for each vertical market.
  • Responsible for revenue generation through new business development activities, include weekly planning, networking, sourcing, cold calling, client visits, vendors, and related follow-up activities to target clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with clients, vendors, and partners to generate revenue and gaining repeat business.
  • Engaging technical resource to develop custom solutions, generate and present proposal to clients
  • Actively HUNT for new business, identify needs, closing the sales and gaining repeat business.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions in accordance with business guidelines and contract administration objectives.
