About The Position

We are hiring an experienced in-home sales professional to join our HVAC team in Sacramento. This is a commission-based residential sales role with a proven earnings range of $175,000 to $500,000 per year for top performers. At Bonney Plumbing, Heating & Air, our Comfort Advisors meet with homeowners across the Sacramento area, assess their HVAC needs, and guide them through the entire process from the first consultation to the day installation is complete. You are not just closing deals. You are building relationships and making sure every customer gets exactly what they paid for. Requirements

  • 2+ years of in-home sales experience with a track record of closing
  • Valid California driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use an iPhone and iPad daily in the field
  • Self-motivated with a commission-driven mindset
  • Experience in HVAC, home improvement, or in-home service agreement sales
  • Knowledge of heat load calculations, duct design, air balancing, or home insulation
  • Familiarity with California rebate programs, HERS testing, or permit processes

Responsibilities

  • Meet with Sacramento-area homeowners and recommend HVAC solutions that fit their home, budget, and goals.
  • Build accurate estimates that include equipment pricing, rebates, financing options, permit details, and HERS testing requirements.
  • Own the job from signed agreement through completed installation (collecting signatures, staying in contact with the install team, and making sure every promise is delivered.)
  • Keep homeowners informed throughout the installation process, especially when anything changes.
  • Verify customer satisfaction on completion day, collect payment, and leave every homeowner feeling confident they made the right call.
  • Attend sales meetings and stay current on products, promotions, and company processes.
  • Other related duties may be assigned by the needs of the Company.
