About The Position

Skillforce is hiring experienced Combo Pipe Welders/Fitters for a industrial maintenance project in the West Memphis area. This role focuses on pipe fabrication, welding, and installation work within active process facilities. Pay is up to $35 per hour based on skill set and experience. Combo Pipe Welder/ Fitter Responsibilities: Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel pipe (½”–12” diameter), including Schedule 10/40, Schedule 80, and sanitary tube work. Fit, align, and fully fabricate piping systems using blueprints, layout direction, and precise measurement tools. Support installation and repair projects, including corrosion-resistant and thermoplastic/FRP systems as needed. Work collaboratively on general contracting and routine industrial maintenance tasks. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and uphold company safety standards. Requirements: 3+ years of industrial pipe welding and fitting experience (chemical or manufacturing environment preferred). MIG/TIG welding certifications (6G preferred; must pass a weld test). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings. Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor/industrial environments. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Requirements

3+ years of industrial pipe welding and fitting experience (chemical or manufacturing environment preferred).
MIG/TIG welding certifications (6G preferred; must pass a weld test).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor/industrial environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
