About The Position
Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking dynamic, motivated, career-minded individuals to join our expanding team! The primary role involves laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing industrial production and process piping and welding systems in both field and fabrication shop settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric plans. In this position, you will be responsible for measuring and fabricating pipe to fit existing in-line piping systems, utilizing instrumentation cut sheets for fabrication of spool pieces, and planning the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions. You will also be required to cut pipe using various tools, assemble and install a variety of metal pipes and fittings, and secure pipes to structures using clamps and brackets. The role demands a high level of precision and adherence to safety standards, as you will be working with heavy machinery and in potentially hazardous environments. The work environment may vary, requiring you to work in different temperatures and conditions, including inclement weather. You will need to be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, and you may be required to use personal protective equipment such as hearing and respiratory protection. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, but it does require a strong commitment to safety and compliance with company policies.
