This position is responsible for setting up and operating the mechanical dumper while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, and working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. The candidate must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions. Additionally, maintaining a clean work area by using soap and a high-pressure hose is essential. The candidate must be able to read and complete required logs and communicate with supervisors and co-workers via two-way radio. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor, and the candidate may be required to operate a frontend loader or forklift and will need to obtain certification to do so.
