About The Position

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time Combat Systems Torpedo & Ordnance Handling Equipment Engineering Technician III in Mayport, FL. The Combat Systems Torpedo & Ordnance Handling Equipment Engineering Technician provides troubleshooting, repair, assessment, testing, and logistics support for U.S. Navy shipboard Surface Vessel Torpedo Tubes (SVTT) and Ordnance Handling Equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years (within the last 7) of full-time, hands-on experience in Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA), assessment, and logistical support of U.S. Navy SVTT and Ordnance Handling Equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of Maintenance and Material Management (3M).
• Experience in mechanical, electronic, and electrical disciplines (primarily electronics).
• Experience with assessment and oversight of SVTT/MK 32 and Ordnance Handling Equipment repairs.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for evaluating and correcting fleet system/equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic Combat Systems repairs in accordance with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM).
• Offer technical assistance on qualified systems, including problem analysis, troubleshooting, isolation, correction, and checkout testing.
• Conduct assessments and maintenance of shipboard systems and equipment, including training in maintenance and overhaul processes.
• Perform operational assessment tasks during TSRAs, including: Ballistic Missile Defense Readiness Assessments (BMDRAs), INSURVs/Mid Cycle Inspections (MCIs), Combat Systems Assessments (CSAs), Pre-Deployment assessments.
• Provide integrated logistics support, including audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure adequate logistics support and recommend corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
