Manage the personnel and activities of all sections of the DER Planning and Engineering, including driving strategy and policy in Illinois, collaborating with capacity planning, OCC (Operation Control Center), Regional Engineering and Operations, TSO (Transmission System Operation), LCS (Large Customer Services), Legal and Regulatory areas, Safety and Environmental Services, etc. This role requires interacting with legislatures, presenting at workshops, writing ComEd's Multi-Year Grid Plan, Managing Hosting Capacity Investment Category and aligning on key issues with ComEd's stakeholders. The Sr. manager should assure the development and effective implementation of strategic initiatives, assure the focus and attainment of business goals and objectives, and develop and maintain an environment that promotes safety, diversity and inclusion, and high productivity. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
