WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT As a Columbus Promise Co-Op Student for the 2026-2027 academic year, our goal is to align your work at IGS with your personal areas of interest. We are seeking students of all major areas of study. We want to provide you with a positive professional experience and help you better understand the fast-paced energy industry, while having a lot of fun along the way. That includes specific programming to increase your soft skills and support your career readiness. Whether you see your future in marketing, sales, IT, or another field, you will work on meaningful projects with some of the best professionals in the industry. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, our goal is to assist you in developing and preparing to launch successfully into your career. This position will be approximately 20 hours a week at the hourly rate of $19 an hour. Plus, a monthly stipend of $150 is also provided to assist with transportation, meals, or other needs. Work schedules will be determined between hiring managers and Earn-and-Learn students. However, we pride ourselves on being flexible with employee schedules. As a part-time position, this opportunity is not benefits eligible. Our offices are open Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Potential areas of focus include but not limited to: Solar design and installation Community solar Human resources Information technology Finance Billing Customer care Sales Facilities management
