About The Position

Summerville Medical Center and Trident Health system are looking for a Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join their established team at Summerville Colorectal Surgery. The position offers an opportunity to work in a well-established practice with a good distribution of major abdominal and anorectal cases as well as endoscopy. The role includes shared practice call between Physicians and APPs, with no General Surgery call expectations. Candidates should have robotic surgery capabilities and interest, and the ability to work with General Surgery residents is required.

Requirements

• Fellowship trained in Colon and Rectal Surgery
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery
• Must have a South Carolina license or the ability to be licensed in South Carolina prior to starting
• Established practice with a good distribution of major abdominal and anorectal cases as well as endoscopy
• Robotic surgery capabilities and interest required
• Ability to work with General Surgery residents
