Requirements

  • Has strong math skills
  • Can differentiate subtle color variations (FM 100 Hue Test required)
  • Understands job tickets and can enter data into the ERP system
  • Follows safety, PPE, and housekeeping practices
  • Enjoys hands‑on work and problem solving
  • Communicates well and works effectively with production teams

Responsibilities

  • Mixing and matching inks to meet color and appearance standards
  • Adjusting formulas and preparing press‑ready ink batches
  • Performing first-piece approvals and in‑process color checks
  • Troubleshooting color- or viscosity‑related issues to reduce press downtime
  • Maintaining accurate ink and solvent inventory
  • Preparing prototypes, updating formulas, and supporting screening operations
  • Completing incoming inspections for ink deliveries
  • Supporting environmental, safety, and quality processes
  • Keeping the mixing room and ink storage areas organized and safe
