About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Three Roll Mill Color Technician / Operator to join our Color Manufacturing team. This role goes beyond standard production - it requires the ability to work independently, collect and analyze process data, conduct pilot and test batches, and recommend improvements to optimize color formulations and manufacturing processes. Operate and adjust three roll mill equipment to achieve precise pigment dispersions and particle sizes. Weigh and process pigments and raw materials according to batch records. Manufacture finished color batches and monitor in-process quality. Conduct pilot and test batches to evaluate new formulations or process changes. Collect, analyze, and document process data to ensure consistency and efficiency. Recommend process adjustments based on testing and observations. Clean and maintain equipment and production areas following GMP standards. Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in color cosmetics manufacturing, including three-roll mill operation.
  • Strong knowledge of pigment grinds, dispersion processes, and batch processing.
  • Experience with color shade matching preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and reliability.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
