About The Position

Requirements

• Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
• Successful completion of ACGME accredited Colon & Rectal Surgery Residency Training.
• Eligible for State of Massachusetts medical licensure.
• Five to fifteen years of clinical experience following residency training.
• Excellent clinical, laparoscopic, and endoscopic skills.

Nice To Haves

• Training and/or experience with robotic colorectal surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced colorectal surgical procedures including robotic surgery and endoluminal resections.
• Provide clinical care in the Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
• Engage in leadership opportunities within the division or institution as appropriate.
