About The Position

Requirements
- Prior detailer or car wash experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Ability to read and comprehend job related instructions and information
- Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience and an eye for detail
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role

- Prior detailer or car wash experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes
- Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner
- Apply revitalizer and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
- Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer
- Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime
- Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle
- Apply dyes and reconditioning chemical to vinyl tops of vehicle to restore color and condition
- Other duties as assigned
