About The Position

The Collision Repair Compliance Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring Classic Collision operates within legal and direct repair partner standards set forth in the guidelines internally and within carrier account expectations. This role requires a keen eye for details, a solid understanding of legal regulations and company policies, and the ability to work cross functionally with various departments. Requirements

  • Strong estimating and repair procedure experience.
  • Efficient knowledge in OE requirements and Direct Repair Program guidelines.
  • Experienced knowledge of repair center operations and processes as well as insurance claims management.
  • Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, which includes some overnight travel.
  • Must have valid driver's license and be eligible for insurance coverage.
  • Minimum 3 years estimating experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of CCC One and Mitchell estimating platforms and CCC One management system
  • Adept in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as repair procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively and present before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance programs that ensure Classic Collision meets all regulatory, insurance carrier, and OE standards.
  • Monitor and audit company procedures and practices to ensure estimate compliance.
  • Assist director in review and distribution of compliance reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with different departments and directly with locations to foster a culture of compliance, quality, and accuracy.
  • Identify and address any infractions in a timely and effective manner with management and stakeholders as needed.
  • Train and guide staff on repair procedures and policies ensuring everyone is informed and updated while working to eliminate leakage and errors.
  • Identify areas for Gross Profit improvement through estimate review and analysis.
  • Evaluate any related compliance issues or potential threats.
  • Foster strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
  • Back business development to execute any improvement plans and secure market leadership buy-in to resolve performance gaps.
  • Responsible for following standard procedures and processes for the Central Review Team
  • Stay current with changes in industry regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in completing end-to-end compliance testing activities.
